Man’s Gaiters or Splatterdashes for Infantry, Militia, or Civilians, c. 1790 – 1820 by Kannik’s Korner.This pattern includes a multitude of design options to meet various military requirements, including peaks front and rear, peak front and round rear, notched front and rear peak, round front and rear, round front and peak rear, notched front and round rear, and Hessian style. Optional tongue styles include round one piece, pointed one piece, and pointed two piece. To be made for military wear in canvas and blacked, or in sturdy linen for civilians.  This extremely detailed pattern is a huge time saver in terms of drafting and fitting!
