Our Superb Stockings are made for us by one of the finest historical hosiers in the world. Our stockings are made to fit both men and women, and are knit to stretch considerably – they will accommodate a generous calf, and they will stretch to accommodate a man’s size 14 or so foot. If, however, you find that they are too large or too big in the foot, a trip through a hot dryer after washing will shrink them down a bit for you. For best results and longest life on your stockings, we recommend that all of our stockings be hung to dry rather than put through the dryer. Our cotton stockings can be machine washed and will come out beautifully. These lightweight stockings are perfect for everyday wear with period or modern shoes. They are over the knee length, with just a touch of spandex in the rib to help them stay up. Due to variations in dye lots and screen resolutions, colours may not be exactly as you see on your screen. Approximately 77cm (30″) in length (toe to top).
